30 mm six barrel antiaircraft automatic gun AO
18 (GSh-6-30Ê) is intended for arming of the shipborne
automatic gun mount AK-630M. The automatic gun
employs a circuit of multi-barrel weapons with
a cluster continuously revolving during firing.
The automatic mechanisms operate due to the energy
of powder gases evacuatedfrom the barrels. Firing
is remotely controlled.
