TMZ-450D (Russian designation ТМЗ-450Д) diesel engines are intended for installation on light-duty vehicles, mini-tractors, small-scale mechanization facilities for municipal services, road-building and construction machinery.

The diesel engines can be also used as drives for mobile electric power stations, uninterruptible power supply, pump units, generator and welding plants. It is possible to use diesels as stationary engines of low-tonnage boats.

TMZ-450D diesel engines can be recommended as a reliable user-friendly energy carrier with minimum maintenance volume not only for national economy, but for armed forces as well.

Design features:

• Single-cylinder diesel engines, four-stroke, air-cooling.
• Built-in high-power 400W generator.
• Availability of balancing mechanism.
• Lubrication of crankshaft is performed under pressure of the gear-type pump.
• Booster pump available to supply fuel from separate tank.
• A number of parts (starter, booster pump, inserts, sliders, oil filter and others) is unified with engine parts of VAZ cars.
• Variable-speed governor.
