Pneumatic rock drill SSPB-1K |
Pneumatic rock drill SSPB-1K (Russian designation ÑÑÏÁ-1Ê) is intended for drilling of blast holes up to 46 mm in diameter, up to 5 m in depth and up to 36 mm in diameter, up to 9 m in depth through rocks and other materials with hardness factor up to f=20 acc. to Prof. Protodyakonov scale.
It may be used with universal telescopic pusher leg UBTU-1, push legs of PP-type, jack columns UPB, LKR-T, manipulators of different types and may be performed in the following versions: with water flushing, intensive blowing-out.

In contrast to rock drills possessing crank mechanism of torque transfer, the rock drill SSPB-1K uses independent separate push and rotation drive which makes possible to drill blast holes in wide range of drilling modes:
- Strong percussion, slow rotation (predrilling);
- Strong percussion, fast rotation (drilling);
- Smooth rotation (drilling in soft rocks and when the drill rod is extracted out of blast hole);
- Intensive blowing.
As compared with analogous equipment the rock drill SSPB-1K features:
- Separate push-and-rotation drive with capability of using a wide speed range for drilling tool rotation;
- Drilling of horizontal and rising blast holes using universal pneumatic telescopic pusher leg UBTU-1;
- Safety of capacity at low pressure of compressed air (up to 0.2 MPa);
- Low vibration at high speed of drilling blast holes through the rocks and ores of any hardness;
- All the rock drill units are actually long-wearing components;
- Convenience in assembling/disassembling, no more than 5 minutes required;
- Convenience in operation (different modes of operation are available).
- Low consumption of lubricants;
- Starting and operating capability of the rock drill at the ambient temperature range from +40°C to –25°C.
TULAMASHZAVOD JSC offers the consumers a wide range of spare parts to pneumatic rock drill SSPB-1Ê.
